Colorado is full of high-achieving women who are crushing it on the outside and quietly falling apart on the inside. If that's you, I already know this much: you don't have time to spend years in traditional therapy unpacking the same wounds in 50-minute increments while your imposter syndrome gets louder. That's exactly why I built my entire practice around therapy intensives: a focused, accelerated approach to deep healing that matches the pace of your life.
I'm Alli Christie, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with 18+ years of specialized clinical training. I eat, live, and breathe intensives. It's all I do. And I do it specifically for high-achieving women, entrepreneurs, and executives who are ready to stop spinning their wheels and start doing the deep work.
Why Weekly Therapy in Colorado Isn't Working for High-Achieving Women
Therapy in Colorado typically follows a familiar format: book an appointment, sit for an hour, scratch the surface, then wait a week to pick up where you left off. For high-achieving women, that model creates more frustration than healing.
Here's what that cycle actually looks like:
▸ You lose momentum between sessions because life doesn't stop while you heal
▸ You spend the first 15 minutes catching your therapist up instead of going deeper
▸ Your imposter syndrome keeps whispering that you should be able to figure this out on your own
▸ After months or years, you're still wrestling with the same patterns
▸ Right when you finally get to the main point, time is up
Sound familiar? You're not broken. The model was just never designed for how you operate. High-achieving women need a therapeutic approach that respects their capacity. That's where intensives come in.
Colorado Therapy Intensives: Deep Healing in Days, Not Years
A therapy intensive flips the traditional model entirely. Instead of stretching your healing across dozens of weekly appointments, an intensive compresses the work into focused, full-day processing sessions. You show up with clear goals. We identify the root memories and beliefs driving your imposter syndrome, your anxiety, your self-doubt. And then we do the work together, in real time.
Here's what makes intensives so powerful for high-achieving women:
▸ Condensed timeline: Significant results in days, not months or years
▸ Less total therapy time: Fewer hours overall to achieve the same or better results
▸ Uninterrupted processing: Your pain gets the space it needs instead of being paused after 50 minutes
▸ Clear direction: No more guesswork. I identify the real root and keep us on track
▸ Momentum that sticks: Many clients experience a shift within hours of starting
This isn't about rushing your healing. It's about respecting your time and your capacity. You tackle complex problems every single day. You deserve a therapeutic approach that honors that.
If You're a High-Achieving Woman Battling Imposter Syndrome, You're in the Right Place
Maybe you're a founder scaling a company in Denver. A tech exec managing a remote team from Boulder. A leader in healthcare, law, or finance navigating high-stakes decisions in Colorado Springs.
On the outside, you're polished and strategic. On the inside? Imposter syndrome has you convinced it's only a matter of time before everyone figures out you don't belong. There's a constant hum of not enough. A pattern of over-functioning that started long before your career did.
If any of this resonates, an intensive can help:
▸ You grew up with a parent who was emotionally unavailable, unpredictable, or dealing with undiagnosed mental health or substance issues
▸ Your worth has always been tied to your performance, and the imposter syndrome that comes with it won't turn off
▸ You've been pushing through panic attacks, burnout, or self-doubt for so long it just feels "normal"
▸ You react with big emotions like shame, rage, or self-criticism, and that isn't how you want to show up
▸ Your default setting is "just try harder," "it must be my fault," or "I'm not good enough"
I specialize in helping high-achieving women in Colorado identify the roots of these patterns and heal them at the source through intensives. Not with surface-level coping strategies. Not with years of talk therapy. With targeted, evidence-based processing that gets to the heart of the issue.
What Your Colorado Intensive Actually Looks Like
Everything starts with a free 45-minute consultation where we talk about your goals and what you want to heal. I'll give you an estimated number of days for your intensive based on the scope of the work. If it's a good fit, I'll offer you my first opening so you can get started.
During Your Intensive:
▸ A standard processing day runs from 9 AM to 3 PM at my Colorado office, with an hour for lunch
▸ Day one: we identify key goals, resources, and limiting beliefs, then map the target memories underneath your imposter syndrome, anxiety, or trauma
▸ We move into three sets of 90-minute processing sessions using EMDR, IFS, and Somatic Experiencing
▸ We take as many breaks as you need
▸ The last 30 minutes focus on helping you calm and regulate, then plan for the next day
▸ Subsequent intensive days build on the treatment plan from day one
After Your Intensive:
▸ I provide a comprehensive treatment summary covering the targets we worked on and the processing we completed
▸ The summary includes any significant parts-work we explored and remaining areas of concern
▸ If you're working with another therapist, I'll coordinate a debriefing call so your intensive connects seamlessly to your ongoing goals

The Modalities That Power Your Intensive
I don't rely on a single approach during your intensive. I seamlessly weave together three evidence-based modalities tailored to exactly what you need:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) targets the distressing memories and beliefs stored in your nervous system, including the root experiences driving your imposter syndrome. Through guided bilateral stimulation, we help your brain reprocess those memories so they no longer carry the same emotional charge.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you understand and work with the different parts of yourself, including the high-achieving protector parts that developed in response to painful experiences. We listen to them with compassion so they can finally let go of what they've been carrying.
Somatic Experiencing (SE) addresses the way trauma lives in your body. You might intellectually understand your history, but your body is still holding the tension and the fight-or-flight that won't turn off. SE helps release that stored energy during your intensive so your nervous system can settle.
This isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. It's precision healing that meets you exactly where you are in the moment.

Who I Work With
It's Time to Do the Deep Work.
You've spent enough time analyzing, strategizing, and white-knuckling your way through the imposter syndrome. The deep work is different. It asks you to slow down just long enough to let the healing happen inside the intensive container. And then you get to move forward with a clarity and freedom you may not have felt in years.
If you're a high-achieving woman in Colorado who is ready to get to the root of what's been holding you back, I'd love to talk with you. Schedule a free 45-minute consultation, and let's explore whether an intensive is the right fit for your goals.
Your healing doesn't have to take years. Let's get to work.

THE FOUNDATION
You've tried the weekly therapy route. Maybe for months. Maybe for years. And you're still circling the same patterns, the same self-doubt, the same weight you can't seem to put down. Therapy intensives are a different model entirely — instead of 50 minutes a week, we spend focused, consecutive days doing the deep work that actually moves the needle. I work with driven, high-achieving women who don't have time to spin their wheels. You show up ready. We go deep. You leave lighter.

INNER HARMONY
That inner critic who won't quit. The part of you that overworks to feel worthy. The piece that shuts down entirely when things get hard. These aren't flaws — they're parts of you, and they have a story. Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy helps you get to know those parts, understand why they're running the show, and create real internal harmony. When your parts feel heard, they stop fighting for control. What's left is a grounded, clear sense of who you actually are beneath all the noise.

ROOT-CAUSE RELIEF
You're not "a worrier." You're someone whose nervous system learned, a long time ago, that the world wasn't entirely safe. And now that hypervigilance is running on overdrive — even when there's nothing to fear. Anxiety therapy isn't about managing your symptoms forever. It's about going to the root of why your system is stuck on high alert, and healing it there. Using EMDR, IFS, and Somatic Experiencing in an intensive format, we do the kind of deep work that calms anxiety at the source, not just on the surface.

TARGETED HEALING
EMDR is one of the most researched, results-driven modalities for trauma healing available today — and when delivered in an intensive format, it's a game-changer. EMDR intensives allow us to target the root memories driving your anxiety, self-doubt, and burnout without the stop-and-start rhythm of weekly sessions. We stay in the work long enough to actually complete it. Whether you're processing a single event or years of accumulated pain, EMDR intensive therapy creates the kind of transformation you can feel immediately.

BODY-BASED RELIEF
Trauma doesn't just live in your thoughts. It lives in your body — the tightness in your chest before a hard conversation, the way you freeze when you're criticized, the exhaustion that doesn't go away no matter how much you sleep. Somatic Experiencing works directly with the nervous system to release what talk therapy alone can't reach. By tuning into your body's signals, we complete the stress cycles your system has been stuck in, so you can finally feel the calm, safety, and resilience that were always within you.

REAL RECOVERY
You hit every goal. You show up for everyone. And somehow, you're completely empty. Burnout isn't a productivity problem — it's what happens when driven, high-achieving women spend years overriding their needs to prove their worth. No amount of vacation or self-care will fix what's happening underneath. Burnout therapy in an intensive format helps you identify the deeper beliefs fueling your exhaustion, whether it's a fear of not being enough, difficulty setting limits, or a pattern of over-functioning that started long before your career did.
